Restrictive Covenants

It is the responsibility of the property owner to read the covenants

The Restrictive Covenants are on the Currituck County Register of Deeds website.  See below for a link

https://currituckcountync.gov/rod/

You also should have signed for them at the time you purchased the property.

It is the property owners responsibility to make sure they have all of them, including amendments.

Please note that there are 4 Phases in this development.  Phase I, Phase IIA, Phase IIB, Phase IIC.  They may have some differences so make sure you also read the phase you are in.

HOA and Through The Gate Fees

HOA Dues:

As of 2025 the HOA dues are $800 per year in January.  This can change so please contact the BLAPOA Board to verify: bradylandingairparkpoa@gmail.com

Through The Gate Fees:

There is a $240 per year fee, paid to the HOA in June. This is paid by all property owners.  The HOA then sends this to the county.  The county can change this so Please contact the BLAPOA Board to verify: bradylandingairparkpoa@gmail.com

Questions and Answers

For additional information please contact: bradylandingairparkpoa@gmail.com

Question:  Can I only build a hangar?

Answer: No per Currituck County, we are a residential neighborhood and must build a house as well.  The Board of Directors approves plans for building according to the covenants and the county also has rules and regulations that must be followed.

*You will see, when driving in the community that one property has a hangar only on it. That is a mistake that the county, unfortunately approved many years ago, and before the HOA was created.

Question:  Can we have a trash pick up service?

Answer: Yes, however, there is a 60' right of way that must not be blocked at any  time.  It is the property owners responsibility to ensure the trash are never in the right of way.

Question: Can I have chickens?

Answer:  No livestock of any kind is allowed.

Question:  Can I park on the street?

Answer: No, the roads are taxiways and cannot be blocked for any reason.  If a lawn service is mowing your lawn, they also cannot park on the taxiways/roads.
